The USNS Comfort, homeported in Norfolk, Virginia typically deploys on the Continuing Promise (CP) mission. This mission is usually conducted in the 4th fleet Area of Operations (AOR) to include countries in the Caribbean, Central and South America.

West Coast Vessels

USNS Mercy (T-AH 19)

The USNS Mercy, homeported in San Diego, typically deploy on the Pacific Partnership (PP) mission. This mission is usually conducted in the 7th fleet AOR and visits countries in the Far East and Micronesia.
